
My yoga journey is deeply intertwined with my international roots. Growing up in China and being educated and lived in the United States gave me a unique perspective on wellness across cultures. This international background, along with my travels across the world, has shaped me into a compassionate yogi who honours diverse approaches to healing and growth.

After discovering yoga during my battle with depression throughout my 20s, what started out as a form of physical exercise gradually transformed into a consistent practice that healed my mind and spirit. During my darkest moments, yoga became my mentor and guiding light, offering stability, clarity, and hope when I needed it most.
With more than a decade of dedicated practice, I've developed a deep appreciation for yoga beyond the asanas (physical postures) and tapping into the philosophy—finding wisdom in ancient teachings that continue to guide my daily life. My Vipassana meditation training taught me the importance of impermanence and set my mind to become more calm and present. The integration of breath, movement, and mindfulness has been my anchor through life's challenges.

Teaching yoga has evolved into my life's purpose. As an independent free spirit with a global mindset, I create inclusive spaces where students from all backgrounds can feel welcome. There's nothing more fulfilling than witnessing others discover their strength, find inner peace, and transform their lives through this sacred practice. Serving others and contributing to their wellbeing brings me profound joy and meaning. Each class I lead is an opportunity to make a positive impact—creating ripples of wellness that extend far beyond the mat.

I sequence each class with genuine care, integrating breathwork and knowledge in yoga anatomy. My greatest reward is seeing students leave class feeling more connected, balanced, and at peace than when they arrived.
